The officials of Himalaya Airlines supported the in Walk-a-Thon held on February 17, 2018 along with 170 participants from different corporate organizations and communities and had lively interactions with the team.

Tewa’s Walk-a- Thon contributes towards strengthening women's groups at the grassroots level, thus driving the women's movement forward in a sustainable and effective manner. The walking route was a short hike for 1 hr 15 mins from Tewa’s office, Dhapakhel to Jharuwarashi. Tewa was able to raise NPR. 304,800.00 which will be efficiently utilized to make a difference in the lives of women and communities by strengthening leadership, voice, visibility and collective organizing power.

The airline believes that the small but valuable contribution will definitely help reach more communities and women of the society and make a difference in their lives by allows us to give back to the most vulnerable communities.
