Himalaya Airlines gets active socially

As an initiative of its corporate social responsibility, a full service premium air carrier, Himalaya Airlines has recently made a valuable donation of 17 sacks of 30 kgs rice along with a set of stationaries and chocolates to the enthusiastic and charming children of Prayas Nepal, situated in Baluwatar.

The officials of Himalaya Airlines visited Prayas Nepal on February 18, 2017 and had a lively interaction with the children and officials of organization. The children welcomed the H9 officials’ team with their heartwarming smiles along with traditional Tika and Khada. The overwhelming excitement of the children was seen through their dancing and singing performance.

With its two years of establishment, Himalaya Airlines is now committed to contribute into societal development through CSR activities. We believe that sustainability and responsibility are critical to ensuring environmental, social and economic prosperity in the areas where we operate. This is the first initiative of Himalaya Airlines conducting such social activity and the same spirit will be continued in near future.

While interacting with Ms. Mani Joshi, President and Children of Prayas Nepal during the donation program, Ms. Ujjwala Dali, Head of Department- Brand and Service Improvement remarked, “We are very pleased with the efforts of Prayas Nepal for their passionate attempt to improve the lives of underprivileged children. We feel honored that with our small initiative we are able to touch the lives of these special children and we pledge to continue our contributory association with Prayas Nepal over the years.”
